In October 1924, a group of men assembled by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley met in the basement of the YMCA in Santa Ana, California, USA. The group took the name ' Toastmasters'. Footscray Skyline Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International.
Footscray Skyline is a non-profit organisation which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their communication and leadership skills through bi-monthly club meetings, educationals and speech contests.

Footscray Skyline is a mature club with both new and experienced members. New members are assigned their own personal mentor. You can speak about anything you like at our club.
At Footscray Skyline meetings, members have an opportunity to deli
ver impromptu speeches, present prepared speeches and receive constructive evaluations.
